About Hariyal

A quiet kitchen with a big local following

Our name and logo carry the হাঁড়ি — the traditional clay pot in which Nihari and Halim are slow-cooked. It's a small nod to how we still make our comfort food: unhurried, and the old way.

Our story

Built one regular at a time

Hariyal sits on Ahsan Ahmed Road, right in front of Saint Joseph School — a spot that's become a go-to for solo lunches, after-school snacks, and family dinners across Daulatpur, Khulna, and Khalishpur.

We didn't set out to be a "fine dining" restaurant. We set out to make two things true at once: food that's genuinely good, and a room that's genuinely calm. Most fast food spots pick one. We wanted both.

"Cozy place, beautifully decorated, nice atmosphere, prime location, reasonable price." — Paraphrased from a Google review

That combination — comfort food like Beef Nihari and Mutton Nehari sitting on the same menu as burgers, shawarma, and milkshakes — is what makes us different from a typical Khulna fast food shop.
